The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2013-14 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS, Pilani. This test will be referred to as ‘BITS Admission Test , in short as BITSAT hereafter in this document. BITS, Pilani is an Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani at Pilani campus, Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus, for the academic year 2009-10 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test called ‘BITS Admission Test-2013’, in short as BITSAT-2013 It is mostly seen that students applying for BITSAT   due to the difficulty level and the status of colleges BITSAT offers. BITSAT keeping up to its principles of giving CBSE board exams its due continues to take in meritorious class 12 students directly without any exam. The BITSAT administration upholds that though churning out engineers they want to endure that the communication skills of all their students should be at par making them a complete package and not just dull engineers.

BITSAT provides admission into a few BITS campuses namely, BITS Pilani, BITS Mesra, BITS Goa, BITS Hyderabad, BITS Dubai and a few others. The various institutes of Birla institute of Technology and Science in Hyderabad, Pilani and Goa grant admission to those students who have qualified in this admission test. The BITS institutes are one of the most prestigious institutes for engineering education in India and provide a number of undergraduate programs to the students. These institutes provide excellent facilities like well equipped library, labs, computer & internet labs, workshop and organized class rooms to its students.
