Islamic Council for Productive Education headed by Dr. Saeedur-Rahman Azmi Nadvi, Principal Darul Ulma, Nadwatul Ulma, Lucknow as Chairman, and Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar, General Secretary of the Council started an Engineering College with the aim and objective to develop Technical, Scientific and Professional aptitude in masses specially in younger generation by providing best possible modernized education. The Council also intended to provide the best possible Scientific, Technical, and Professional education to students of all communities in general and minorities in particular in the Institution of the Society.

The foundation stone of the Integral University the then Institute of Integral Technology was laid by the world renowned eminent Arabic scholar Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Mian Nadvi on 3rd of November 1993.
