In India education is the most important point of concern for all most all parents so school in India play a very vital role in the society. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is the apex body for curriculum related matters for school in India .The NCERT provides support and technical assistance to a number of schools in India and oversees many aspects of enforcement of education policies. In India, the various curriculum bodies governing school of India education system are as follows:

To increase the education in India and to promote and control school in India There are 33 different educational boards in the country, including the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE , Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations CISCE which control and manage  ICSE and ISC and the various State Educational Boards like Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board KSEEB which conducts SSLC. A relatively smaller number of schools in the country are affiliated to various other boards like the Madrasa boards of the various states, the Central Tibetan School Administration and so on.
