About CIPET
CIPET is an ISO 9001:2008 QMS, NABL, ISO/IEC 17020 accredited premier national Institution devoted to Academic, Technology Support & Research (ATR) activities for the growth of Plastics & allied industries in the country. CIPET operates on hub & spokes model with 22 locations spread across the length & breadth of the country. CIPET has 15 centres at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Hajipur, Haldia, Jaipur, Imphal, Lucknow, Mysore and Panipat. All the CIPET centres have state of art infrastructural facilities in the areas of Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality control to cater to the needs of plastics & allied industries in the country.
Admission procedure for CIPET
Doctoral Program
The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be called for interview. Selection will be based on the previous academic performance and the marks secured in the interview. Admission to PhD program is possible any time in the year for all categories of research scholars and the enrollment will be done as per affiliating university norms & guidelines.
Post Graduate Program
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a common admission test for the candidates seeking admission for M.Tech. courses. It is conducted by CIPET Head Office during the month of July every year. Selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in JEE and the previous academic performance and as per norms of affiliating university.
Under Graduate Program
The candidates are being selected through admission policies of following affiliating Universities :
• Chennai - Anna University, Chennai.
• Bhubaneswar - Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.
• Lucknow - Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.
• Ahmedabad - Gujarat Technological University.
Post Graduate Diploma, Post Diploma & Diploma Programs
Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria and Successful in the JEE will be considered as per the admission norms of CIPET.
Note : CIPET JEE is conducted second Sunday of July every year across the country. The admission form is available at all CIPET locations in the month of May.It can also be downloaded from CIPET website.
